Dr. Nguyen Tra Giang (Jane Nguyen) is a well-known figure in the field of sports management, with over 15 years of teaching experience and an impressive academic background. Dr. Jane Nguyen has made history as the first Vietnamese person to contribute to the Thailand men’s national ice hockey team and compete in the world champion level. Moreover, Dr. Jane Nguyen was awarded the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship by the Council of Europe for her outstanding achievements in sports education, making her the first Vietnamese recipient of this prestigious scholarship. Dr. Jane Nguyen’s passion for sports education goes beyond academics as she believes sports and physical activity can be powerful tools for social changes. As the Vice President of the Vietnam Chess Federation since 2023, she has advocated for the role of sports in shaping gender norms, promoting unity, and addressing critical issues such as conflict resolution, reproductive health, and gender-based violence. In 2018, Dr. Jane Nguyen collaborated with the US Department of State, the University of Tennessee, and ESPNW, USA, on a groundbreaking project called "Stay Active, Happy Her, Happy Us." The project aimed to inspire and empower female university students to actively engage in sports and physical activity. This innovative project exemplifies her commitment to promoting change and empowerment through sports. Dr. Jane Nguyen is also the founder of the Chess and Physical Activities class for underprivileged children in difficult circumstances in Vietnam. This project aims to allow children to develop intellectually, physically, and spiritually, regardless of their social status. The project also offers a safe space for children to play and be happy, reflecting Dr. Jane’s unwavering commitment to creating positive change through sports.

Sir Oliver is a transformative academic and specialist in research, pedagogy, and teaching innovation within Physical Education, fitness, wellness, sports, and dance. His extensive experience extends to curriculum development and instructional material design consultancy across Southeast Asia. Beyond his inaugural work, the 2017 publication “Physical EducASEAN Educator’s Manual,” he has made remarkable contributions by formulating teacher education curricula for Physical Education and Life Skills under UNESCO Myanmar. Sir Gomez’s repertoire includes the authorship of 12 student-teacher textbooks and 12 teacher-educator guides. These books were written in collaboration with the Myanmar Ministry of Education, the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), and UNESCO. Sir Gomez imparts his profound knowledge and teaches students and learners in various countries. His diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to enhancing education and health make him a visionary in the academic field of sports science.

Introduction of Seminar and USFD Book

The Seminar “Live well, Your way”, introduces new concepts of physical fitness in modern life, emphasizing that health is a top priority for people worldwide. It also presents specific fitness concepts tailored to different groups, such as children, women, the elderly, people with disabilities, pregnant women, elite athletes, student athletes, office workers, and amateur sports enthusiasts.

Besides, we are honored to introduce the book in which we are the authors with the title "A Unified System Fitness Design: Concept of Holistic and Inclusive Fitness Framework" (USFD). Especially, this book was published by Routledge, which is the most prestigious publisher globally, ranked Q1 on the Scopus Ranking—the highest ranking in the scientific research system among the world's leading scientists. and I am proud to be the first Vietnamese to publish in the sport field with Routledge.

In addition, at the seminar, the author will join with scientists and experts to discuss topics such as writing monographs, scientific articles, the classification and ranking systems of reputable publishers and journals in global accreditation systems, as well as share experiences in publishing scientific works with leading publishers worldwide. 

This Seminar gathering aims to bring together elite attendees, including scientists, eminent leaders of prestigiously domestic and international universities; experts, managers within sports federations and associations; and leaders of companies and corporations engaged in the sports business, and respected figures in fitness, sports, and education. The event promises to be an enriching experience, offering deep insights into a revolutionary fitness framework that challenges existing paradigms and heralds a new era in health and fitness.
